The motor pulley on my Spectrum 2-8-0 recently cracked and couldn't be fixed, so I designed and printed a new one. It's working great so far, so I put up the file for free download in case anyone else needs one!

Amazing. Not to split hairs, or gears, is that a pulley, a cog, or a gear? Indeed, since the demise of brass gears, cracked gears are the bane of model railroading.

It's a pulley for the cogged belt they use in the 2-8-0. The grooves in the pulley align with the cogs in the belt, so it doesn't have to rely on tension to drive the model like most belt drives.
