Anyone good with CAD? I downloaded Anyrail, but it doesn't seem to do anything, work, e.g.
I want to see how small I can do a twice around using a forty five, or sixty degree crossing
using Bachmann EZ track in HO. Anyone?

Good question. I'd like to use 18 for the twice around, and surround it with a basic oval, not
connected, for two train running. Since I'll be running low scale Tyco upon it, I imagine
15 inch might fit, literally, the bill. 18 inch might push the outer parameters of a 4x8 space,
and I had not considered using 15. Maybe 15 for the innermost turn and 18 to go around it.

15" radius is less problematic using 1/2 length 18" radius as an easement between straight and curve sections.

Yes, hit with a design using 15 inch curves. Bachmann makes a lot of fitters and
the Tyco stuff will tolerate 15 inch. I'm not doing turnouts. Thanks!!!!

As you can see, there is plenty of room on all three plans to add a loop of track around the perimeter. All fit comfortably on a 4x5 space, so expanding them to fit a 4x8 should pose no problems.
