Bachmann recently released three of the four previously announced 50' Flat Cars with Load in the Silver Series HO-scale Rolling Stock line.
Thought some might be interested in some info on them...

This image is the one Bachmann has supplied. My example arrived decorated the same, but carried MEC #7504 and not #7502.
The set of crates totals six and they are of two different sizes. The smaller crates are 4.75' x 4.75' x 5.5' in HO-scale. The larger crates measure 6.5' x 5' x 5'. The crates are flat stock styrene and are glued together, but they are not glued to the bed of the car. A total of six wire tire downs are laced through the stake holes on the sides of the flat car and hold the crates in place. The crates could be removed with some minor effort, should one what to alter the car's appearance or use the crates for a non-load use.
The car itself is Bachmann's typical 50' flat that first appeared in the company's line in the 1970s. As a member of the Silver Series it does benefit from Bachmann's E-Z Mate spring knuckle couplers and rides on a pair of friction baring trucks with metal wheels.
Bachmann retails the Flat Car with Crate Load for $20.

Here's Bachmann's Flat Car with Steel Load...

A pair of identical steel beam loads are tied down to the bed of the flat car. The steel beams measure 22' x 1.5' x 1.5' and each load is made of three beams, for a total of six on the car. The beams are set up on wood planks. The first layer of the load is made up of five planks with two beams resting upon them; on those beams are five more smaller planks that hold a single beam. A pair of tie down wires secures each of the two loads to the flat car bed.
Bachmann retails the Flat Car with Steel Load for $20.

Next is Flat Car with Pipe Load...

This car features a pipe load made up of 29' long sections that are about 1' in diameter each. There are 19 pipe sections on the car. A set of three wood planks rests on the flat car bed with 5 pipe sections on the planks. This is repeated twice, with the third set of 5 pipe sections also holding an additional 4 pipes on top of the load. The pipes are banded together with 4 plastic straps and the entire load is held to the flat car by a pair of wires tied into the stake slots. As with the other loads, only the tie downs hold the load to the car and thus it would be removable.
Bachmann retails the Flat Car with Pipe Load for $20.

The four flat car with load is to have a container or two. Bachmann did have a 20' container back in the '70s and I'm guessing this will be the tooling that might be used for this new release. The car isn't available yet and I've not seen any advance pics for it.
