I have the Tyco Chattanooga 2-8-0 Consolidation and when I removed the traction tires to replace them, I discovered that both of the drive wheels on the non-gear side were cracked. Is there a good source for reasonably priced replacement wheels? I read another post that pointed out these tender drive wheels are NOT the same size as those found in the diesels - I didn't know that since I don't have any Tyco diesels with the Power Torque motors. Also, any tips on getting Calumet #515 traction tires on the wheels? Before you ask, I did NOT crack the wheels while trying to get the new traction tires on the wheels. :)

Thank you!

Here's another photo showing the tender, so yes, it's the Chattanooga 2-8-0 Consolidation. :)

Thanks for looking. Unfortunately, I don't think those will work. From what I've read, the driver wheels for the tender drive power torques are different than those used in the diesels (for example, the tender drive wheels are all grooved for traction tires and they are plastic on both sides).

Thanks again! I really appreciate your effort to help!

I think you'd be good to use the diesel wheel sets. They are grooved for a traction tire and the metal wheel will help with the electrical pick up, just make sure the metal wheel is positioned the same as the original metal wheels.
