Is the cab easily removed? Can I replace it with the cab from the PRR floodlight car?

Most Tyco stuff comes apart fairly easily, at least mine does when it
goes off the table. Not sure about interchangability.

Thank you both. I have accumulated a lot of those floodlight cars over the years. I need a PRR boom tender, and because that Santa Fe car is fairly cheap and ubiquitous, I may go this route.

I see that you have your answer, but I thought i'd mention that you can also use AHM and Bachmann bobber caboose bodies. Been doing this for over a decade.

On a semi-related topic, I assume that the side railings on the Tyco boom tender fit into the sides of the Mantua/Tyco derrick?
