Tyco Great Northern 50ft flat:
I know it’s nothing really special, but it’s a welcome change from the usual AT&SF version.
Does anyone know what the cribbing is for?

Nice cars this week, all. Great graffiti work on that Tyco 50', Chops.
I added another 2 Tyco auto-loader cars to my collection, both of which have intact brake wheels, for just 2 bucks a piece.

Thanks Glenn and busss!
By the way, Glenn, I'm pretty sure the brown-plastic cribbing on your Tyco GN flatcar is for the cable reel load it is supposed to have. The car is missing the load and the 3rd brown-plastic piece.

Thanks RP!  That certainly looks like what it is.  It’s just as well that the rest is missing, because I really never cared very much for the looks of those cable reels!

Thanks for the responce Ben and Glenn, Buss I never thought of the platform as a veranda but maybe a wrap around porch. I would imagine the the Pullman company had a fancy name for it. frank
