That is a very cool back story, and interesting piece, Ben. The gray trucks and the metal wheels are most unusual for an Athearn piece.
Chopsticks* is showing off his Dorito car that he deaded for me.

(The real Chopsticks went to the Great Kitty Litter Box in the Sky a few years ago, after a long and happy life. This is actually Reeves, his companion for life, also a Siamese mix. A dear friend to me).

Oooooh, NICE. I love your parrot, too, but I fear Blossom would make him into a snack, too, within a few minutes. She looks sweet, but that beak looks like it could take a finger off. A Guard Parrot. How unique.
