I found this video on YouTube recently, and wanted to share it here with you all. Not having that much knowledge of the history of Bachmann trains, I always wondered why you could find painted metal-framed chassis in old Bachmann diesels, sometimes. It blows my mind to realize that classic Bachmann made such a durable motor and drive system for their HO-Scale diesel locomotives (BEFORE rolling out the cheaper and popular "pancake" motor chassis with infamous cracking gears.) It seems these old, reliable Bachmann 8-wheel-drive diesels are getting more difficult to find, considering they were only made for a few years after Bachmann first entered the HO market in 1970. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven." - Matthew 5:16
