This pre pod has been up on eBay for a while, it's quite interesting but of course has a high price, This seller has quite a few rare tyco items

I am pretty confident that this is a prototype, based on the description the seller gives of its origins, the unique factory stamp on the packaging, and the quality of the hand-paint job, different on both sides. Certainly one-of-a-kind.

Anything can be faked, especially if you don’t know what it is “supposed” to look like.  And he offers no provenance to support his claim.  I approach this with a heavy dose of skepticism.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh, is there something I am missing here?

Oooooooo, I did see one towards the end. I had done a nasty PC
patch job and heavy weathering. This from when I was first setting
foot on the slipper slope.
