A familiar El Paso sight, up until the buy out in 1996. They kept the SP pay system for the SP guys, per union demand, and my UP engineer buddy is frequently grousing how much better paid the "SP Old Heads" are. There are a number of SP engineers who with over forty years of service, are making six figures and won't retire.

Tyco C430 (did I get that right? I am sure it is not an F unit). MU 2 motor and works good as gold, fifty years later.

My LOTW will be the Anderson Works CF437 in its completed state. This unit is intended for trailing purposes only due to control stand issues. This chop shop build will still serve the EV well as another piece of horsepower.

This week is one of my Gilbert vertical shaft Hudson #151 . For who knows what reason Gilbert placed the number 5318 ON all 6 volt AC Hudsons and this early DC version. It is said to be a prototypical number of a real NYC Hudson. frank
