I repaired and tuned-up a messed-up TYCO Spirit of '76 ALCO C430 diesel, and then swapped the PowerTorque trucks into the Ephrata Valley RR C430 #4301. Thanks again Aaron, for a great job on custom painting and lettering #4301.

2 follow-ups: #1, I did clean the brass-contact wheels on the rear truck outside of this video, to enhance pick-up - the front ones were fine. #2, I realized that you can simply unscrew the wire from the rear truck to then slide-on the front truck's snap-in piece, so that it is thru the wiring. Much easier.

This C430 and the GP20 really nailed the exact dynamic I was trying for with the Ephrata Valley Railroad.

I did this to the ICG Century loco I have
I swapped trucks from the Santa Fe loco to the ICG loco hehe
now the loco has directional lights
