Back before Armadilloville was Armadilloville, it was Tycomania I, II, VII depending on its many revisions. I kinda lost count. Along came El Rojo Grande, one of my favorite model railroad artists, inventor of the Jade Fog Brand, and some spectacular Dinsorium Cars, and said, "uh...why not call it Armadilloville, or something?" That just rang the bell, like at the old carnivals. And so it was rechristened, forevermore, as Armadilloville.

The backstory of Armadilloville is that the Jade Fog Factory, which operates in close close conjunction with the Armadilloville Nuclear Power Plant, has leaked its precious nuclear fluids into the community, causing an explosion of peculiar mutations: plants morph into strange bushes nearby, while elsewhere mutations of fauna include resurrected T Rex, mammoth, and a gargantuan armadillo terrorizing the streets. Meanwhile, at the hospital, escaped circus animals charge through the corridors adding to the havoc.

It has been a thrill and a privilege that two great model railroad artists, El Rojo Grande and Andersonville Paint Works, have taken an interest in developing Armadilloville. The sparkle they have added is immeasurable. Other contributors have been WKS, among other things, gave Armadilloville its signature train set: The Armadilloville Aerotrain (with connections to downtown Pecos), numerous structures and vintage Matchboxes from RP Model Railroads.

2021 is going to be the bomb! Oooh, can't use that word, going to be awesome!!

I remember all of these vids! Nice compilation, and great progress has been made on your layout over the years, Chops.

All you need to do now, is have Nessie invade Armodilloville.

You know RP, that's a great idea, and it just never occurred to me.
Now I have inspiration for another video. The short days of winter
leave me feeling sluggish, and I'm picking away a little a Mormon's
Gulch. Having trouble with the baseboard design, not as strong as
it needs to be.

Very cool indeed! I love watching your layout/s evolve over time. You use plenty of vintage pieces in your work and I love it!
And all the things you've given me over the years in our trades will definitely make an appearance on my layout as you will soon see

It's an honor to work for Armadilloville. It's been a wonderful project to keep myself busy with during these boring times. I can't wait to see what projects you have for me in 2021! Right now I' kind of thinking about something to build a nuclear plant building with.
