Here is the video of my Mantua Rio Grande Davenport switcher #50 Sorry chops I just really like the supermarket music! does anyone know how rare these are I am not sure. This Locomotive is based off of the only narrow gauge diesel that the rio Grande ever owned. They did however test some for the U.S. army. It was used for switching in My hometown of Durango Colorado in the 1960s. of course this model is standard gauge ho But I don't mind because its classic!

That's a nice little Davenport, there. I've run a Davenport D50, standard gauge locomotive, and I recognize a lot of features of your locomotive as typical Davenport. The construction of the frame the cab, and the ladders is the same. The side blister for the air compressor is a Davenport practice. The use of side rods is the same, though on standard gauge, they used an inside frame with the cranks mounted right on the wheels, but I see what Mantua was doing here, imitating D&RGW 50.
Mantua did a nice job.

That is a cool piece, indeed. I am told they are fairly rare. I had one, now in parts, that I was running at the Club layout. It straddled two electrically opposed blocks. I went over to see why it had stalled and picked it up. It was a few degrees below red hot and I dropped it on the concrete floor, and bye bye Mantua Davenport. If you need parts, let me know.

Awesome video Erik, and great layout as well!
Gotta say, although I didn't know about supermarket music being a thing, it is really cool.

Yeah actually Rio grande number 50 did originally belong to the Sumter valley railroad then was bought by the Rio grande in 1960 and they used it for switching in Durango until the San Juan extension was abandoned in 1970

Great super market music. Really got me bopping. The track level shots really effective, and I am admiring the bilevel track plan with an eye to plagiarize.
