A railroad in South Carver Massachusetts that I visited once thirty years ago.







Only three photos since I had a used defective camera back in the day.
Live and learn. Still had great memories of the place.

Located between Boston and Cape Cod. Still operating.

That streamliner set was a Boston and Maine train from the 1930s.
The Flying Yankee it was called. Ran in Massachusetts , New Hampshire and Maine.
Being restored in Lincoln New Hampshire.

Still possible they may get permission to run limited Christmas trains.
During their festival of lights promotion. With limited crowds.



On the original five mile loop using two foot gauge equipment.
Still uses two foot gauge but only two mile loop track now.

Nearby is Middleboro Massachusetts where a toy train museum used to be open.
I visited it in 1990 but had a poor used camera. Pics came out poorly.
None from me but there are some on the internet.











MBTA commuter train station in Middleboro.



Train enters Middleboro. Toy Train Museum closed in 1991 due to rising expenses.
