My LOTW offering is an Ebay score from a while ago - this TYCO Amtrak GG1. In mint condition, however the PT runs very sluggishly when it first starts, even after proper lubrication. Still working on diagnosing why.

One of my faves. It too barefy could get out of its own way, but an easy application of a second power truck, it runs super fine and pulls seven coaches at speed.

Here's an AHM G snuffling through the foliage...

Rest quietly amidst the urban decay...

Nice Amtrak RP! My LOTW will be my newest-additon, a Tyco Pennsy GG1. I picked it on Ebay at an incredible price, in the original box. It has NEVER BEEN RUN. I don't think I'm going to either, it's too mint. It's the new pride of my fleet.

My OC, Alex the Famous Jupiter, is the Pride of my collection. I can even run him at clubs, because he is my only DCC and Sound locomotive. I have made some modifications, such as the red tender wheels, kadee couplers, some extra gold and silver here and there, and I also painted the logs in the tender different colors.

In the future I may follow a video tutorial I've seen to use kadee centering springs as pickups on the tender so I can do away with those pesky axle wipers, as well as add a bell and whistle cord.

Those red tender wheels really pop. I'd be quite interested in seeing how to replace the axle wipers, which are never good in the long term.

Incredible Pennsy GG1, A-A-ron! Looks mint indeed.
Agreed, Walt. Would have been awesome if Tyco did a Chessie GG1....since we're on the GG1 theme so far this LOTW.
Incredible Jupiter, Alex, with tasteful customizations. I agree with Chops, those red tender wheels really look awesome, and make it look more realistic.
