Handpainted Athearn BB and caboose. This RR used to go through my home town on road bed that went back to the dawn of railroading.

This week I'm double-dipping for LOTW, with two American Flyer steamers. A 31004 Pennsylvania RR 0-6-0 switcher, and a 31005 New York Central Hudson. Both of these run and smoke very well, the Hudson is almost mint. The switcher is pulling its original set of cars, and the Hudson is pulling some Varney, Mantua, Lionel, and Marx cars from the 60's. They were made about six months apart, the switcher has a date stamp of August 1960, and the Hudson has a date stamp of February 15, 1961.

I always thought the 2-8-2 Camelback was a good looking and well proportioned steamer. I imagine it's a good puller too.

This Week's LOTW is presented as a demonstration video!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcfDj8ynWOY
Alright, Here's the next member of the Blaxland crew done after years!
Here's Cody, the Pompous F-7A! It's Chop's lucky day! Bing bing bing, that's right, it's an...
F-UNIT!!!
Ok, anyway I've actually conceptionalized this character for my series since 2016, and This model has gone through 5 different refinements, with 3 different shells, 5 different paint jobs, 2 different chassis, but It's finally at a point where I don't want to redo it again. i'll explain the whole backstory and process on the Blaxland Backshops episode... Whenever I make it, that is!
I used my fancy shmancy airbrush for Cody's Paintjob, and I love it to bits! The paint I used is from Createx airbrush Colors and is called "Flourescent Blue". Don't be fooled by the pictures, this paint produces a lovely royal blue that looks stunning on this model.
I only need some jewels for Cody's marker lights, then he'll truly be finished!

A truly brilliant video that used camera angles and a perfect sound track to engage the viewer. I loved it all, the American is sweet.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed! They're plenty more in store for my channel. I'm going to be using a lot of the soundtracks from my favorite game, Chris Sawyers Locomotion in my videos for the time being, as I dont have a lot else to use. They are great though.
The one used here is "Mo' Station" from the 1960s era.

The Royal Blue, Blaxland RR. I really like your video style, you take something that is a carpet layout, and make it highly entertaining and cohesive. No wonder you have 200 + subscribers. I am looking forward to coming videos like the color comics in the Sunday paper of yore. This is great stuff, truly.

Not to toot my own horn, but it really is a rare breed of content that I make.
Check out "Bigengines87". The style of how he does his series "Modern railroad" is very similar to how I'll be doing mine.
I'm very glad you enjoyed, thank you so much for the kind words!
