The 2nd rarest TYCO RF-16A "Shark" locomotive, the Northern Pacific (NP) variant, filmed on RETRO TYCO, hauling some of my favorite hard-to-find TYCO 50' billboard box cars.

Where did you find it? I'd love to get one and do some mods to it like GIC did to his Rock Island shark!

Vintage trains, off the shelf, running like clockwork. Beautifully portrayed.

Thanks guys!

Alex, I found mine at the Greenberg's Great Train & Toy Show, and got it at a pretty good price - $50. I've seen 2 of these on Ebay, and both went for well over $200. I truly would not recommend detailing them at all.

That being said, the Rock Island Sharks were Tyco's most popular, and you can usually find them pretty cheap. Modifying them would be cool, but the NP is so scarce that customizing it is like a crime -- "Shark Master's" rules. You could, however, paint a Rock Island Shark to look like the Northern Pacific one, I guess.

I suppose your right, something that expensive shouldn't be messed with. I'll take your word for it, Shark
Master!

Thank You! (Another Shark crime has been prevented)

If you ever do stumble across one at a good price, either keep it in its original condition (as they are quite scarce) or send it to me -- I'll gladly take another.

*Holds a silver sharpie to the NP shark*

RP: SHARK POLICE OPEN UP

*Stammers in fear*

I would probably keep it for myself, but I would most likely sell it on ebay so if I ever get one, keep a lookout...
