Tyco GG1 that I amped up with dual vampire power trucks. I love the old school
look of this thing, seen here on the El Paso Model Train Club layout (to the horror
of the rivet counters). Of course, the Tyco GG1 bears very little resemblance to the
business end of the G, but it captures the general look and feel of this iconic American
Juice Jack.

You might note that the coaches are lit up- this was not a stationary shot!

My LOTW is a 1992 G scale LGB Stainz I got as a complete set on Ebay a little over a year ago. As expected for LGB, it ran (and still runs) beautifully, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Very happy with this beaut.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

Got this Reading RR 2-8-0 "Consolidation" NIB from the "Louisiana Purchase" of trains last month....and just pulled it out of the box tonight. Absolutely beautiful, operationally and cosmetically!

Glad you got the one that's Reading, as that's what the prototype is based on, rather than Bachmann's other trainset crap versions of this with gaudy paint schemes.

Beware of split axle spacers! Treat this one with TLC!
