Kind of a set. Here's an article on "Super Train". One of the pictures is an AHM advertisement to sell the one of a kind "Super Train" set for $25,000. I guess that was after the show was cancelled.

I had never heard of this, Walt, but I am sure in '79 I would have been glued to the B&W set every weekend to have seen it. That really is a bit of a stretch of the imagination, most people have a nostalgic view of trains, so a train with a disco, pool, and goodness maybe even a radio-telephone would be a bit out of the stream of things.

I have never seen or heard of that either, Chops. But I was well out of the train hobby when I got my drivers licenses in 1976. A neat looking train though... and it was reasonably priced!!

I vaguely remember this show as a total piece of trash, even more so than what was passing as entertainment at the time. What surprises me is the AHM connection. You would think this would have been built by professional movie set designers.
