BANG! POW!
I understand those to be highly sought after. While I enjoyed comics, to a degree, when there was nothing on the television (which was often. Evening news with Roger Mudd was not inspiring for a twelve year old), I continue to be amazed to see comic book stores frequently here in the Southwest. El Paso has three, and there is a lively Comic Con Festival annually. The enduring currency of these Ephemerals in the digital age surprises me, and collectors are most passionate.
Going for a rerun here, I think it's a generic Mehano set. Coca Cola collectors are also quite rabid. I got this on a fluke, but it has grown on me.

Nice pieces guys! I have never bought the four Super Hero cars. I believe they come out after 1975 when I was getting out of slots and trains with interest of driving and a car.
Chops, Nice Coke set. Is the 3 dome in the set the same as the ones Tyco offered?

Ya know, Walt, I wondered about that a bit. The Minute Maid Super Tanker appears identical to any Tyco Super Tanker I've ever come across. I was really baffled who made any of this, and I think it was a TFer who told me it was Mehano. The caboose, with the under rods is a real oddball. I am surprised that AHM fielded this as a set.
I pulled it out and had it running at the train club open house today. The whole set is kind of wobbly as these low end sets are, but after two or three laps it warmed up and everything behaved well once it found its groove, that is until somebody knocked it over. and had it ru
