I'll show some photos. It is a TYCO catalog from when TYCO was used as a Road name on the locomotives and cabooses. These are photos and some didn't come out right.

Totally cool! That Tyco Shark is mega awesome (still dreaming for one like that) and also that 4-6-2 streamliner is "drool-worthy" indeed.

Frank,

Is the year printed on it? Looks like a Dealer Catalog from either 1955 or 1956. I have never seen one before.

Bill no it isn't. The last 2 pager 11 and 12 are missing. I do 60, 65-65, 75-76, and 77. You could be right about 55-56. I look over in HOseeker for what they have.

A new TYCO catalog I found at Allentown today is the "HO scale electric trains, Tyco Pro racing system catalog for 1973-74. The oddity in this catalog is the TYCO #239 Texas and Tender the 2-10-4 they never released. Also the Alco Super 630 is the original Rivarossi designed one.
Here is the cover of the catalog.

Nice catalog, Frank... I have found in several older catalogs that there's a number of mistakes in them.

Yes, and the ICRR C630 has a broken handrail segment towards the back.

It's very interesting that they didn't really care about how their locomotives looked in promo shots. Even today's Bachmann promos have faults and defects that I easily notice. Companies today just don't care!
