Here's my LOTW offering:
Tyco Chessie System ALCO C430, in great operating condition. Just needs a new rear coupler.

My LOTW is the Tyco Chessie 630. May someday pick up one of those Chessie 430s also!

My LOTW is a Fleischmann German class E44 in Great Northern livery that I bought at a train show last year for only $30. Looks and runs as good as new despite being from around 1957 (as I eventually found out). Love this little guy as I do all of my Fleischmann locos.

Nah, it's Great Northern Week.
Tyco GN 0-8-0 1982 only I believe.

Well, does BN come close? Honestly, never warmed to the C&O because it makes me think of D.C. And when I think of D.C. my blood pressure goes up. Sorry C&O guys. When I think of D.C. all I can think of is tax and spend, and now don't tax, spend, and print monopoly money.
In my green phase, I picked up a couple of Model Power NOS Sharks, and with some generous help from Wilde Coupe and his lathe, was able to whittle enough off the MP chassis to fit decently into the Tyco shells.
The only thing that gets my blood pressure higher than D.C. shenanigans is Tyco PT motors, of which RP has nothing but nice things to say about. Most of my PT motors either burned or blew.
I wonder if Mike thinks the same things about Ottawa? Not quite the same place when I left it back in '69.

Latching onto Kovacste000 lead with a Fleischmann 2-8-2 side tanker. I do have to agree with him that they do run very well. frank

Gorgeous engine, Toptrain. Believe it or not, that’s actually not a Fleischmann. That’s a Roco! Type “Roco 93 374” into Google. Either way, Roco engines are very nice runners, too (I have a couple of their engines they made for Atlas in the 70’s and 80’s ).
