Hey Guys:
Anyone ever see a Union Carbide version of the single dome tanker? It has little chemical content paddles on the ends of the frames. "Made in Hong Kong" on the underside frame center Rail.
I also have a CN 2 bay hopper which I can't identify...

Hey Carl:
White & Green for the tanker and well rusty brown for the CN hopper which you could call Tuscan I guess though of course that makes me think PRR.

Gareth,
I belive the early version of the tankcar has frame mounted couplers, and is made from the old Varney molds. The later variation has the standard LL truck mounted couplers. As for the CN hopper,I think this car was only available in Canada. Hope this helps.

Hey Carl:
Never even thought of LL? Huh. The Tanker the couplers are truck mounted. I had assumed made in HK meant Tyco.

Funny thing about Life Like stuff is they started making trains in Taiwan, then Hong Kong, now their stuff comes from China. Most of their early locos were repackaged Ahm stuff.
