Courtesy of Highwayman97. For years these two gems languished upon the shelf, both had been used up, and as Highwayman said to me later, "...these are among the worst I've seen." The type and vintage were straight out of my well spent youth in Shiplake, near "Henley-on-the-Thames," and so I was loathe to trash them. To my great fortune, Highwayman reached out over the Atlantic, some 6,000 miles distant, and said he could fix them up in a jiff. Off they sailed, and the boomeranged back in first class condition. I could not be happier.
As a bonus, when they went out, they were only single bogie drive, common to these Playcraft units, and came back furnished with new gears that makes them double bogie powered, and much more powerful.
