I finished these up during the Christmas holiday. Since Microscale couldn't make any more NJ Transit decals, I found a guy in NJ that makes the Morristown & Erie decals. The M&E is a small local 18 mile RR.

Here is a pic of the real 563

Here is a pic of the real 557 engine

This is a M&E SW1500 #20. This was one of the most time consuming model I have ever produced.

A pic of the real engine. This is still in use on the RR.

M&E used to have a good fleet of Alcos, but I think they're all gone now. Mostly C424s, they were sold on either to preservation or new operators. I know they scrapped at least a few, I think a parts bin Canadian Pacific C424 and an RS-18 or 11 at some point.
sim-al2 Also since they cut track maintaince the trains had huge trouble making over the railroad by the end 純那 yeah They did a Rock Island volountarily

M&E got rid of the C424's recently. They bought 3 MP15DC's from Norfolk Southern. Atlas recently made them in HO.

Hello Pete. I really do like your choice of railroads to model. The M&E is a short line here in the Northern part of New Jersey. Being located in a circular hilltop depression very close to the Historic center of Morristown NJ makes it accessible to railfans for many years. With your skill I am sure the M&E will come to life here on the Tyco Forum. Frank

Hi I also model the M&E, but in N-Scale. There are a couple of M&E engines in these photos awaiting painting and decals.

Looking forward to seeing more on this forum. Cheers Steve NZ

The models I posted earlier will have to wait a while, I paint outdoors and it's the middle of winter here. I also need to repair or replace my compressor.
My first M&E project was the engine house which I built many years ago before the "tents" were added. The two locos here have decals made by Circus City. Decals for the rest of the fleet are on their way.
Stay safe out there. Cheers from NZ Steve

Thanks for all your kind words. I will confess the actual out buildings and the trees are a photo background. The enginehouse is scratchbuilt from photos and memories.
