Scsshaggy - Maybe one from column A and one column B. Nothing in these scenes resembles anything I've seen or any place I've been in particular. But it was meant to represent the open road that I think is deep in the American psychic. I love building models of all kinds and like to put them into scenes. Model trains have always been mostly props and not the real focus of my 'model railroads' so here having little space in this area, I just eliminated them completely. If space allowed, I would have had a main line running parallel to the road. I also would of had more open space but alas everything is a compromise. That said I had fun and created something I think I can be proud so that for me makes it a success.

Amazing details in those buildings Gary. Can always pretend that the train tracks are nearby.

The license used in the movie I believe is currently owned by Jeff Beck, world's greatest guitarist. He is also a Hot Rodder and built a replica of the American Graffiti deuce couple. He had a replica plate made but later obtained the real thing. I do need a bunch of classic street metal. My family and I attend a lot of the local car shows since my sons have a '75 Monte Carlo they show.

Wow! I didn't realize how long it's been since I posted this. My focus has gone back to my main layout and completing it with lighting and running better. There has been a few signs and details added to the 'Highway' plus one structure swapped out.
