Starting off small this week, REALLY small, I have a boxcab electric, an EF-10, made in Japan. I bought quite a few N gauge engines some years ago, and hadn't really tested them, so I took a case to my model train shop today and tested all I had there, about 20. This is one of my favorites, a little foreign job, tiny, runs sweet adn quiet. It's not a Kato, though.

Love it. Those couplers almost as big as the unit. How much can that little bug pull?

One of my favorite pieces, this Tyco has the old MU2 motor, and she has put in many hours of active train service and runs most reliably. I acquired her early in my Tycomania, and she quickly sucked me under.
