Thanks, RP, I'm grooving on that Cox F7- it is a fine machine.
Does anyone have a guess to its vintage? When did Cox
get out of the model train business? Someone told me,
on good authority, Canadian Mike, maybe, that it was
part of a Robin Hood brand promotional set.

I think by the late 70's, Cox was out of the model train arena. Not exactly sure. But they weren't in it too long.
