At $10, "runs good," I nabbed this Tyco piece off eBay.
Please excuse the general disarray, as I am busy with
other model rail projects right now!

Er, it is a Chevy, no?

When I get it up and running (hopefully it runs)
I'll post a Chopomaniacal video.

Yes, that's a Chevy...a 1957 Chevy ( I should know, I own 3 full-sized ones ). :) Nice grab!

Thanks guys, but truth be told, I'd take an AMC Gremlin,
Hornet, or even Matador with rusted rocker panels over
a mint state '57 Chevy any ol' day. I miss the '70's- but
golly those American 70mobiles were such dreadful
pieces of recycled dog food cans! Who could forget
the flammable Pinto? The Chevy Chevette ("It Will Drive
You HAPPY!" [not]), or the ineffable Dodge Mirada
(never shut off the engine). AMC's were wretched
fix-or-repair-dailys, but they looked cool!

Uh Chops, you kinda got that wrong. Fords were the "fix or repair daily." The AMCs were the
"Absolutely Mechanically Corrupt."
