Chops,

You are right about Apple for sure. Bitcoin? Hmm a great deal of hype it seems...

That US1 Rig, has not been sold, so the jury is out on the proof of the value. You do see a lot of 'rare' US1 , like the phone box etc offered at crazy prices, but does it really sell for that? Even if you owned that rig, would you dare open it? Use it?

As it is, it may be great for a display, but I think that we both prefer to have stuff that we can actually use.

I know you have recently bought a US1 set that you intend to run, which is great and the spirit of what it was made for. I wish you luck with that project.

There is loads of reasonably priced US1 out there which is ideal for running. That is what I certainly prefer.

Sure there are loads of colour schemes for rigs, tippers and trailers that I don't have, but if they come along at the right price - Great! If they don't, I can get by!

Good luck with your set.

James

I got a used USA 1 Truck Set for $66 in an eBay auction. Rather busy with
repairing the damage on the Smeltertown trolley module to be ready for the
re-opening of El Paso's street car line. Will post as I get more into it.

If it isn't what I hoped for, I will try to resell it on eBay, and the way
things look, probably at a small profit, at that.
