Going back to the Chopchives, this is a Hornby OO scale set. Only the large center driver is powered, so a heavy hauler it is not. The carriages in this set are very light, but for all that it has great detail and runs very well, even through the tightest curves and switches. If there is any slope to the baseboard, it slips badly, so I have to tune the leg heights periodically.

* In keeping singles as the topic the Philadelphia and Reading Railway liked them for there speed. As long as there was a lighter train still to pull, they were very effective and did their job well. In looking at my shabby looking 4-2-2 I know I must do something about that. This neet little loco deserves some attention. frank

Nice SOTW offerings Chops and Toptrain!!
Here's my SOTW offering:

A "set" of 4 vintage all-metal Mantua cars, that I recently obtained thanks to a transaction with chevelle454! I have tested these out as a load for my metal Sharknose on the LTT, and hope to get a video of the metal Shark operating on RETRO TYCO soon.

Well, not "technically" a set, but unit-train material sort of, and it's going to fit in with my Oscar Mayer Wiener train consist I'm building up. Found 3 of these cars at the Bunker Hill show, got them all for cheap. I just threw the Heinz car in for "good taste".... LOL!

I checked, that shell has no room at all inside. But it still works, just have to work with it a little.
