In 18 years of hogging, "Crusty" never had more than a close call
here and there. Then last month, he truck a frac sand spinning it
around, and the last week slammed another such truck ripping the
cab to smithereens. Fortunately, only minor injuries were sustained
by the truck drivers. Understandably, he is getting a bit jumpy,
wondering what else is out there to run into. It appears these
locomotives are well designed to deflect obstructions, but there
is a limit to anything.

The model truck is NOT the company involved in either incident.

BTW: Denny's "Fit Slam" is quite delicious.

A friend of mine knows an engineer who hit a house with a train. A house was being moved and ended up hung up on a high railroad crossing. The engineer called his wife after the run and when she answered, she immediately asked, "what did you hit, this time?" Apparently, he doesn't call home unless something big happened.
