It's been a while since I had anything to post. I recently won an auction with a Mantua CN GP20 with the road number of 6536 from the factory. I know this number was put on CN F7As by Tyco but in 2014 I found and won a NYC GP20 with the 6536 number too and in original untampered-with contition. These are not your fathers5628 GP20!
One resource mentions there were some Canadian only train sets and maybe this would be from one. I have looked at Tyco catalogs and don't see any pics of the 6536 other than the F7A. I posted the NYC GP in 2013-'14 here and it comes up on the Internet search. It would be interesting to know if there are other original Tyco GP20s with this number. I know AHM put out FMs with this number and think it is an actual CN road number.
Here's the link to the NYC 6536 post. http://www.tycoforums.com/tyco/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12110

Seems the original NYC had come across an NYC 6536 GP20 before I did. I wonder how rare they are? Here's the link if anyone is interested.
