There is a Tyco train set from the 1960s on the InterBays. There is a maintenance of way car in the set that I have never seen before. It is a floodlight car, similar to the design of the Lionel HO Floodlight car from the late 1950s or early 1960s.
Is this a rare car? In the top picture, it is beside the transformer. In the bottom pic, it is above the hopper (though you can't see the entire car).

Duh. Now I see "Lionel" on the car.
That's what I get for posting pre-coffee.
I've never seen a Lionel with that color scheme, though.

FYI, the Lionel 0870 does not have a light. However, the 0880 car does have a floodlight.
Check out toptrain's post at: http://www.tycoforums.com/tyco/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6276&whichpage=2 and scroll down a bit - you'll see that this is the usual color scheme for the Lionel 0870.
Neat find inside of another set.
