An Electrotren flat with amphorae. Load added by my sister, May, in trying to replace a long, lost Electrotren piece that bore olive oil jugs.

A Lionel #0805 Radioactive Waste car. Amazing condition, great box and insert. Its owner dropped it, and broke one of the trucks. He took it to a hobby shop, and they fixed it. He then noticed that it shorted out the track, and didn't light up. So now its in my hands. The hobby shop drilled through the floor of the car, and body mounted the coupler. He used a plastic atlas truck. I robbed a truck off of another 0805 that was in lesser condition, and now it lights up. The shorting out problem was because the axles on the other truck were flipped opposit of each other.

Nice cars, everyone. Until today, I had never heard of Authenticast. I wonder just how many model scale train brands there are.
Here is my COTW, an AHM Keebler boxcar
All I can think of now is "cookies."

Never heard of Authenticast, either! That Radioactive Car is a very interesting piece of history, given that it reflects the dawn of nuclear power.

The car is kind of cleverly designed. One of the wheels that picks up power is half metal and half plastic on the tread so the red light in the container blinks as the car rolls.
