Hi all. Welcome to kennyrachtrains here you fine many picture of my Scratch building & Kit Bashing model along with some how to do video. My name is Robert Baker i am 53yr old (falling apart)I am from LI NY (Which we call wrong island and great land of high tax)I been into model railroading for over 40yr now. Work at hobby shop part and full time and own one myself in the 80s I started into trains when i got my first set when i was 10yr old it was a Lionel 218 engine and 6 car it was someone from my family i just ran it on the floor for year instill i when to hobby shop for first time and that when i got hook into the model train world. My first layout was a Ho scale it was a small 4x8 layout then move intoHon3 then N scale for year and build many layout for me and for other .I was making money doing what i love best .Today i just build model and sell them and then build again to me building is the best part of model railroading, today i into on30 running on Ho track. * Welcome Kenny. Nice to have you here. I live just west of your island on the far side of New York Bay in Bayonne. I have family attachments in that other Island. The little one in Richmond County, Statin Island. I'm older that you close to 72. ANd all my scratch built buildings look horrible. A couple of my locomotives came out nice. I want to build a old Jersey City depot from the mid-1830's but can't get started. Well welcome again and yes I do like your buildings. They show some great work. frank
