The nomenclature refers to ferries in the fog, as the Ann Arbor railroad transported
a large amount of shipping East to West, across Lake Michigan by ferry out of Osmer,
Michigan (interchanging with the Great Lakes Central Railroad). This morning I got
a call from Jeff and Karen Jogger, and we shipped some coal!
