Here's my LOTW offering:
This was a Christmas gift from my parents: Tyco "Yellow Bonnet" Santa Fe freight F9A #4015, along with another corresponding A.T.S.F. red caboose!!! It's in mint condition, and without lube or new traction tires, this locomotive successfully hauls 6 cars -- a nicely-sized freight haul for any locomotive on the Ephrata Valley Railroad.
The last photo shows the "Yellow Bonnet" F9 #4015 side-by-side with "Blue Bonnet" F9 #4015, before the "Blue Bonnet" F9 was taken to the table for kind storage, along with the rest of the locos in the roster, until its next run on the layout.

Congrats on another remarkable addition to the F Collection, RP. Last week, RP asked me if my F units had the plain white, or red and white, worms in love logo, I wasn't sure, and to my surprise realized that Tyco put out both editions. Then Microbusss sent me a back issue of Classic Trains that contained this interesting bit of information: "Reacting to negative comments about the PC livery, in April 1968 the Altoona began releasing shopped diesels with a red "P" in the logo. Eventually 149 diesel and electric locomotives received this treatment until it was discontinued two months later when the red faded to pink."
The article goes on to say that a number of GP 40's unexpectedly popped up with an orange "C"' late in 1968, with no apparent rationale behind it- perhaps they had some extra paint, who knows.
(Classic Trains, Summer 2016).

A not completed yet BLZ 231-761. I have a brass detailed backhead and a Mellnor brass floor and hinged floor extension. Gonna put a couple seats in the cab. It actually looks nice black. frank

Nice piece, Mike. What is that pink building behind it, and is that a GTO?
