Beings that the Santa Fe Shark is the most rare Sharknose locomotive Tyco produced to my understanding, I am wondering, does anyone even possess one here, on the TF?? If so, it'd be great to see it/them!

You see them at auction a far bit amount but they are highly sought after and get a good price.

I saw one at a train show a few years back in the box for 10 bucks, I didn't buy it because back then I thought it was common, I'm still yelling at myself over it lol

| RP, so far I have had two opportunities to acquire the S.F. Shark, but passed both times. The latest time was about a year ago. a collector said I could have it for $250, I though that was a little steep and passed. He sold it on ebay and got almost $300. No sweat, I have a fantastic collection of TYCO locomotives and cars. There are only a very few of the ultra rare ones I need and the W.P. caboose is NOT on of them. I got that about a year ago on ebay and if I'm not mistaken I paid almost $425 for it. as a matter of fact, I think me buying that had something to do with me passing on the S.F. Shark. That was the only W.P. caboose I had ever seen anywhere and I told myself I would have paid up to $500 for it.

First of all, congratulations on possessing the ultra rare Tyco WP caboose!! By the way, I like that profile pic - "BlackJack."
Secondly, I do hope that you are able to obtain the Tyco rare Santa Fe Sharknose....and if you happen to find 2....please consider one for the Shark Master.

Unfortunately, I do NOT own a SF Sharknose. I DO own a few others, though. here's a metal one that I upgraded the trucks by adding some copper mesh, it sure helped the power pick-up, made it a lot smoother. I also have the Tyco metal Shark, and just found a picture of a 3rd I own that I'd forgotten about. All are buried deep in my basement at the moment where I can't get to them.
