Have you tried saying, "Hey big boy, come up and see me sometime," in your best imitation of Mae West? Maybe it'd come see you.

Relevant to the Mack this Mack Trucks forum thread started a few years ago might be of interest, https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/topic/33657-mack-rail-%E2%80%93-the-locomotives/ " Posted November 27, 2013 Mack Trucks produced its first locomotive in May, 1921. It was a 33-ton chain-drive four wheel steeple cab locomotive powered by two 40-horsepower AC gasoline engines mounted fore and aft of the cab. " And when looking at the photos note that on type of switched above the cab floor is below the door sill.

Nice Rivarossis, Mike. One of my first was the B&0 0-4-0. You never forget your first one.
Interesting back story on the Mack locomotives. I drove a Mack tractor for a few years back in the day. Cab comfort was about zero and those old motors would never quit, but they teeth rattling bone busters all of them. Left me half deaf to boot.
Those interesting little switchers don't look much more comfortable.

I like the Mack alot! Those are neat little engines. My contribution this week is a Traction engine, an AHM Streetcar. Must be an early model, still has the nice powered pole option before they cheapened up production later.

My LOTW is a Mantua Pony. I saw one in a parts list I have of all the locomotives Mantua supported at the time I got the list:
It looks like they got more mileage out of their tooling by putting their 4-6-0's tender on a shifter locomotive. I remember the advertising talking about times long ago when the railroads did run some 0-4-0's on the mainline and call them ponies. I've never run across a Mantua Pony. I did have a Prairie that had the same tender, though. When I got the standard tender for the Prairie, I did some swapping around of tenders and ended up with this:
It's a Mantua Pony (sort of), but not exactly like the one they offered.
