Big thanks and much appreciation to all who've supplied pics for my sites! If I haven't gotten your pictures posted, please understand it is somewhat time consuming loading them up and I always seem to have a pretty heavy backlog...but I'll get 'em all eventually.
Cool...and, having a blog and website of my own, I do appreciate the work that goes into your site. I would never have known that my Golden Eagle Super 630 never came with the handrails.
I have a red box Tyco F9A in Pennsy colors. Near mint, it was given to me as a tip for services rendered for a older resident and now is the pride of my F unit fleet.

What's the difference between these F9A's and the Deluxe F-7A's besides being 9's and 7's? Just a sales ploy?
I have the GN F-7.
ZZzz I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

I think the differences between them is the Deluxe F-7A models of the late '70s feature the Mantua MU-2 drive...by that time the typical TYCO was PowerTorque equipped. The Deluxe models had the MU-2 drive and its better scaled trucks...beyond that the shell is the same as far as I know. Tony Cook HO-Scale Trains Resource http://ho-scaletrains.net
