The 7th reincarnation of my Tyco Layout. Seeing KB doing cool stuff just put the itch on me
and I pulled up the Tyco Expander Layout, which was interesting in its own right, and
converted the space to this. I'm rather pleased with it, what remains is to polish up the
brass rail and hook up some wires and see if it flies. I did this, also, because Micro
posted a Twin Peaks a while back, and being a MicroFan I just had to get one. The old
layout would not accommodate it. Also, I'm please I have a little more room to work
in the Clementine Mine. Have to figure out how dress it up a bit.

Thanks, an original Tyco Strap Hanger Set, for which I scratch built two extra
straight sections of straight. Finding spare track for this set is scarcer than hen's teeth.
It presently runs on an old Tyco transformer, which is even junkier than the
junk PT motors with which they cursed their equipment in later years. Starting voltage is
probably 5 or 6 volts, which makes for a wild ride. I plan to install a better MRC transformer
to ease it down a notch.

After a series of terrific trades with RP model railroads, the Tycomania VIII Layout is reaching
the point of saturation. I doubt there is room for one more structure, at all.

Well, Jeff, the little people of your town have done it again, and have instituted unrestricted building in their communities. I've seen this before. All they want to do it build. In Bergen Point, they were building even in the streets. It didn't end until they had blocked all ways into their City. The county will have to step in and enforce some building codes and maybe Howard and Johnson will get their parking lot back.
