I had to work Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mowing lawns while the sun shined. Wednesday morning I figured out how to do the siding for my water tower, I have 1/32 inch thick balsa wood and I was going to try and cut it into strips, I started by taking a piece of pine and on both ends placed marks every â…› of an inch, put my balsa wood on it and with a ruler and mechanical pencil, marked lines â…› inch apart. The pencil actually cut a line into the balsa wood, some of them almost through the wood. I did not have to cut the wood into strips. I did cut strips of the trim and windows and around the door. Later Wednesday afternoon I worked on finishing the roof rafters and sheathing, got the mid roof done and tomorrow will work on the top roofs shingles.

| I like your details Martin, like the door knob. Siding turned out pretty good.

I finished my water tower for the most part. I will add a deck and foundation as in the original and a ladder on the roof next to the door, a pull down ladder. I went to the original and pulled into the driveway, hoping to find someone home, only dogs were home. I took a picture of mine on the truck rail and the original in the background. I went from there to a feed store I shop at and asked a friend there if he knew who owned the property. He called someone that he knew lived near the water tower and I got a name from her for a man who knows the owner. I left a message at a number I got and talked to the mans wife. Soon I will locate the owner.

| Very nice Martin. Was that water tower used for residential water? Is it still in use?

Impressive.
Also, like the classic Standart electric shop. The vines are a nice touch. And where ever did they arrive at "Standart?? Acme, yes, Standard, yes, but Standart??
