I'm finally buckling down and working on my track, and this weekend will be filled with adventures in putting track to roadbed and when the ballast eventually ships, ballasting. My main problem right now is turnouts. I had some random old brass "snap-switch" style turnouts serving on the layout, but when I start gluing things down I want some proper turnouts, operable by ground throws. I want to use ones as long as a 9" straight for things coming off the main track, so I guess that'd be No.8 turnouts? In sidings and the yard I want something much smaller, though I don't know what "number" turnout they'd be. I also need recommendations on a 3-way switch for the yard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
sim-al2 Also since they cut track maintaince the trains had huge trouble making over the railroad by the end 純那 yeah They did a Rock Island volountarily

| I believe that you're looking for a #4 turnout. They are much shorter.
