Neat! Not sure if you knew, but tornado means a whole different thing here in the midwest Had a few of those around here today

Wow. That was an event just to see- my computer was practically shuddering as she swept past. Nice view of that lovely stone aqueduct. I wonder how long THAT has been there. Is that an excursion train, really? If so, they certainly had no qualms about firing this antique thing up to its limit, did they (or running out of water)?

hi chops that viaduct is well over 150 years old,they are maintained regularly,yes its an excursion,on mainlines they can open them up,this was the old steam red rose service from London to Shrewsbury,when running on preserved lines they are restricted to 40 mph,yes i knew you have tornadoes in usa,the loco was named after them bnsfIA,ken

regards viaducts,Welland viaduct is 1,275 yards (1.166 km) long and has 82 arches, each of which has a 40 feet (12 m) span. The viaduct was built by Lucas and Aird and completed in 1878. It is the longest masonry viaduct across a valley in Britain and a Grade II listed building,ken see in sunny days
