Night shot photo of Engine. Not the best--Will try again to get better picture. Re-done the ditches in canyon area for heavy rains that are coming on thursday May 8 2008. The LED factory head and ditch lights are bright at night time. It looks cool going throught the canyon in video above. Will try to get some night video of it and post soon

I'll bet that big Dash really takes up the display space. I think I'd just sit and look at it most of the time in fact I've told people that and I know a guy who also has G and just diplays it. CSX is pretty to begin with.
Do you spike that track to the ground? It uses a transformer that can also run HO? Cool stuff!
I'll bet after a while it shows authentic weathering.
Thanks Brian

Track is not spiked to ground at this time. Going to have to put some spikes in--for the most-- the ballast holds it good but the engines weight does move it some after a couple of hrs of non stop running. Going to order track clamps to join rails. The expansion from hot to cold is causing some electrical breaks in current as it loosens the screws on the factory rail joiners. The rail joiners also loose some of their tension. The track clamps are much better and keep the current flowing. Authentic weathering= Yes--as it kicks up some dust from the ballast which settles on loco. It did derail yesterday on the steep slope side coming out of the canyon--just like CSX--L-O-L. It rolled and slid on its side pushing a wall of ballast--no damage or scratches though-- just dust - Aristocraft Tough!! Derailment caused by track shifting off center of roadbed creating a severe lean throwing engine on its side. With this dash 9 from Aristocraft--if track is not centered and is elevated on a roadbed as mine--the weight of the engine will cause the track to lean and engine roll over. The derailment looked like a real one

Sorry i missed this originally -just seen your question - The radius is of the wider offered by Aristocraft as engine will not handle sharp curves - when i get a chance - i will look at bottom of curve for radius- it is all in storage right now

that sure was a lot of digging. i got blisters just thing about it. i like that, but myself "if" i had the skills, i would have done a truss bridge on the low part & saved a bunch of digging, but i am lazier than he!!. lol looks good but if your luck is like mine, rain will be your enemy in the canon part (mud).
