Mint condition, unsullied by human touch, never out of box. Complete with coal and unloading
station. Mint condition. Individually factory numbered! Dozens on Ebay, but you find them like
this!

Washing machine not included.

I have that car and its accoutrements. I think you got a bigger bag of coal than I got. The coal that came with the car is kind of special. If you crush and sift any old coal to size, the lumps are fairly sharp and angular, so they jam up the hatches on the bottom of the car so they don't always swing shut of their own weight. That doesn't happen with the coal that came with the car. It's either not coal, or the coal has been tumbled or something to blunt the sharp edges.

I've been picking up the working hopper cars by Tyco at shows the last year or so, I think I have 5 or 6 now. Long as they're cheap. :)

I have a Virginian and a Sugar hopper. I'd love to get another one. Main thing I really need is the actuator track!

I don't know how this unloading station works...does it have
some actuating mechanism to trip open the bay doors? I am
loath to take it out and see. Don't want to disturb its NOS
condition.

Anybody got cheesy Tyco coal or gravel inserts that will fit these
hoppers? Can't sell them to beat the band, so might as well put
them to work, but don't want to louse up the factory mint coal
loads.

I don't see how much they cost. Or would you trade something for them.

I'd do a trade. These are factory mint never out of the box all the
little accessory widgets and coal in original packaging.

I am in El Paso, Texas. UP, BNSF, AND Ferromex country.
