Schools Class 4-4-0, imported out the UK. An older Triang Unit, it runs beautifully and has flanges you could eat breakfast off of.

Trying to pour "water" for the castle moat. The first coat just got soaked into the plaster base. Hopefully next one will take.
I am intrigued that with UK model railways, it is not uncommon to see all-passenger layouts, no freight. I find myself leaning towards that direction, although the occasional freight is still enjoyable.

My LOTW offering this week is a Baldwin 0-4-2T by Endo of Japan, imported by PSC in 1983. Purchased this weekend...

Nice steam engines guys! Here a Rivarossi Big boy. Had a pleasant surprise under the hood. A Sagami can motor repower job.

That should make for a pretty reliable runner. It'd be fun to see it pulling.

Is that narrow gauge? It looks like it overhangs the wheels quite a bit.

Yes. It has not arrived yet, so I am not sure if it is HOn3 or HOn30. I will figure that out when it comes. I got it for a good enough price that I might not resell it (<$100). It looks like a cute little critter. Great for a small little logging railroad scene.

Currently DC although it will be converted to DCC and more than likely sound. ITs a Tower 55 and i also have a black widow version as well. That one is sound bt the sound quality is terrible.

Out of the blue a friend sent me a Tenshodo 0-6-0T. It had a stripped axle gear. I put bids in on 2 units hoping to win at least one of them, but I won both. so from the 3 of them I assembled 2 working locos. Some small details the finish them up - couplers, bells and what ever else strikes my fancy.

Nice locomotives. They super detail up pretty nicely. I have a couple waiting for my attention too. Kemtron made a kit specifically for detailing those locos...

Sean, that's the kind of stuff I TRY to look for at train shows. Somehow, I always get distracted by passenger cars, or unique things like the five-pack of Krauss-Maffei I got last year. We've got two shows coming up soon (April/May) Maybe then. Evan
