I need the "Chessie System" name in the style seen in the upper right corner of this style of hopper.

And am also looking for a number/letter sheet in the font seen here, in this re-patched number

(This kind of car is what I'm trying to model.)
I understand decals don't go for much, so this is more asking if anyone has them spare, but I'd be willing to pay a little bit, and of course shipping if needed.

The yellow Chessie System decals shouldn't be too hard to find on ebay. There's a box car set there now that includes them.
The stenciled patch might be more difficult. Best guess would be a Microscale sheet with condensed letters/numerals like that and give them a stenciled look yourself.

Are those the right size? Maybe I'm just misjudging from the pictures but the Chessie System name decals looked too big in the boxcar sets from MicroScale and Champ.

Yeah it is really hard to judge the size now that you mention it. I'd bet some yellow hopper decal sets will come up soon.

I'm buying a boxcar for a separate project, and I'll do it up as Chessie System so I can have an excuse to order the boxcar decal sheet. So we will see if the "Chessie System" name is the right size.

Slight problem with those plans, due to money concerns I've changed the current project. Will still probably buy Chessie System decals after I have my yard sale though.
