Tonight's Project: O gauge Speeder.
One of the modern Lionel sets (2002) that I bought had a cheesy little handcar in it. The figures on it were rubber, and the way it was built made it run all herky-jerky. I messed with it a bit, and discovered that, without the figures pumping up and down, the chassis ran quite smoothly.
Being that my job has made me somewhat nocturnal, I started messing with it again tonight, and ended up turning it into a Gibson-esque logging speeder. It still needs a few more details, and it's not a competition - worthy model by any means, but it'll do.

Nice job! I like what you did with it. I'll keep that in mind if i run across a handcar.
